Our sheet metal department is equipped for setting, sawing, welding, gluing, polishing, laser and water cutting of various plastics. Think of materials such as PVC, PP, PE, acrylic and polycarbonate but also rubber, kapton, carbon, foam or other types of materials. Thanks to our knowledge of the different properties of these plastics, we always choose the right processing technique.
Thus, we achieve dimensionally stable parts with a clean finish, suitable for both functional and sight applications.
Gluing and setting with control and craftsmanship
For plastic bonding, we have a specially equipped bonding room, where we work in a controlled and safe manner with different types of adhesives. Exhaust systems remove any fumes immediately, so that the quality of the final product is always guaranteed.
Depending on the material, we choose cold or hot setting: cold for rigid plastics and hot when additional formability is desired. In this way, we always deliver a stable and precise end result.
Laser and water cutting
In addition to machining with turning and milling machines, we also have a laser cutter and a water cutting machine.
With the laser cutter, we can accurately cut and/or engrave a wide variety of plastics and other materials. The laser beam provides a refined and clean cutting line, eliminating the need for post-processing. Thanks to the high precision, complex shapes, logos or text patterns can be cut or engraved effortlessly. Whether it’s parts for prototyping, personalized products or technical applications, laser cutting offers a fast and reliable way to customize plastics
The water cutting machine is an advanced cutting machine that uses a high-pressure water jet to accurately cut materials. For soft materials such as rubber or paper, pure water pressure is sufficient, but for hard materials such as plastic, metal, stone or glass, abrasive (such as garnet sand) is added for extra cutting power.
